Whether you want to be on stage as an actor or become part of one of our backstage teams,

creating costumes, props, or scenery, managing lights and sounds, advertising our play -

There are plenty of things to do both on stage and behind the scenes

and you can be a part of that!  

Always in the first week of the lecture period, the EDG opens up its ranks to new members.

During the How to English Week, we hold an Open Rehearsal, for people to try out what being a part of the EDG could look like without any commitment.

Anyone is welcome to join. No stage experience required. You also don't have to be a student of British and American Studies to participate. 

Afterwards, there is an official sign up window and people can sign up to be part of the group for the semester.

Slots are limited and will be assigned via a first come, first served principle.

More information, such as rehearsal times and how sign up works in detail will be given out at the Open Workshop.

Our next open workshop will take place in the first week of the winter semester, on October 15th, 6pm sharp in the Audimax.
